My G8 has a slight pull to the left ever since I picked it up took it back the next day and the GM rep said that they would not do anything till I had more than 500 miles on it to let the suspension to break in I had the same problem with my GTO and it cost me a set of tires
So now that I have 700 miles on it and it still pulls I will take it back in and see if they fix it.
Just wonderng if anyone else is having the same problem.

I would insist that the dealer check out the alignment and if he refuse I would contact Pontiac Customer Service. Keep us informed on what happens.

Which dealer are you having this trouble with? Just curious if you don't mind sharing. If this is their normal behavior in regard to service, it would be nice to know.

It was not my dealer it was the GM rep that just happened to be there the day I went back. The dealer was ready to work on it and I even talked to the Tech to let him know what it was doing I think he was shocked when I told him what he had to do to fix it and that I knew what I was talking about because I have 27 years as a tech 12 of them GM and I know what they have to deal with when it comes to fixing this kind of problems. Now that I have more than 500 miles I will get it in and fixed.

And my dealer is Cerritos Pontiac and they have always done right by me and this is the 4th car I bought from them. Always made my bosses mad because I would not buy a Chevy witch is where I worked. Chevy just can't tuch a PONTIAC :Banana01:

Good thing you knew the problem inside and out before trying to explain it to others. Also, glad to hear of another good dealership. Sounds like you are in good hands, and since you know their language, I am sure it will all turn out perfectly! Thanks for the reply!

Took my car in yesterday for the pulling problem and got it back today and it's all fixed they found the camber out of line causing the pull so they did a 4 wheel alignment and it drives good now like it should.
And found out it also had 2 recals that they took care of wile they had it.

I had the same problem with mine...i took it to a budy of mine at a pontiac dealership and he checked the alignment and lowered the tire pressure..... the alignment is exactly dialed in and i watched him do it....the car still pulls but he said it is due to the type of suspension that they put in the car...it is designed to hug the road pretty hard

I had the same problem with mine...i took it to a Buddy of mine at a Pontiac dealership and he checked the alignment and lowered the tire pressure..... the alignment is exactly dialed in and i watched him do it....the car still pulls but he said it is due to the type of suspension that they put in the car...it is designed to hug the road pretty hard
Hugging the road is one thing but making left turns when you take your hands of the wheel no mater what kind of road your on is a problem now that they redid my alignment it goes striate but will pull right or left depending on the crown in the road which is normal.

I had a tire vibration problem, when i contacted the dealer they told me that they could not do any thing until i had 1000 miles on it, just incase the tires where had flat spots from sitting. I understand this because i was a gm tech for about 5 years. after it rolled over 1000 miles i took it back and they rotated and balanced the tires which took care of my problem.

2008 G8 GT.
Had alignment check at 500 miles for pulling to left. Alignment was out but it's still pulling to the left. I'm going to change the tire pressure and see if that makes a difference. Tired of fighting the wheel. Any suggestions on tire pressure other than what the book says?

The G-8 is equipped with a fully adjustable alignment. You have Toe, Caster and Camber in front. In the rear you have toe and camber. Normally most modern cars simply have toe with camber and caster set at the factory. This was a selling point for me.
