Does anyone have any info on eliminating the torque management? I have access to HPtuners mapping but can't seem to find the tables that control it. Has anyone tried to mechanically disconnect it? Thanks, RW

It can't be done mechanically. Try going to the HPTunres forum, could find someone there that can help you. I took my C6 to a pro to have it done. I'm computer illiterate.....

Search Corvetteforum.com there are lots of guys there that are much smarter than I. There are several guys that will lend a helping hand

I went with the VMS tune. They and Livernois can set it up any way you want.

What are the adverse effects of removing the torque management? It makes me wonder why this isn't off by default.

I live in the sticks (Rapid City, SD... ) I would like to do as much as possible myself so that I know how to change table parameters and such myself. I think I have some ideas now after doing a little more looking around. Once I know that they work for sure I will post them.

open your tune in VCM Editor. Go to Trans then Torque Management tab. On the upper right you'll see "torque reduction" for various modes. Set to disable to shut off TM. Recommend you leave it on for everything but upshifts.
