We purchased our G8 from Boulevard Buick/Pontiac/GMC in Signal Hill, CA. They are a family owned and run dealership and were very friendly and easy to visit and deal with. We had been to several dealerships prior to stumbling upon them, and the people made the difference for us.

Excellent experience! :)

Sounds like you found a good dealership. Lets hope they have good mechanics working there also.

Yes, we were very pleased. Time will tell on the mechanics I guess. I am in no rush to find out, the less tinkering the better in my book.

I had an amazing experience from my dealer as well. Wallace Pontiac in Milton Ontario (Canada). He was not pushy or anything. I took the G8 for a test drive on Saturday, ordered my car on Tuesday and they located it, did all the rust proofing, scotch guarding, and paint protection on Thursday so I could pick it up and take it on my weekend drive to Windsor.

A three day turn around. Can't beat that.

I bought my 2009 G8 GT from Walker Pontiac in Miamisburg, Ohio, near Dayton. My dealers name is Steve Wells. I have purchased several brand new cars from the showroom floor and this place was by far the easiest to deal with! Please listen to this great tip I learned from this experience, I know it will make your purchase SO MUCH easier and a lot less money for you! the first step is to contact the dealer from email. I started at www.pontiac.com (http://www.pontiac.com) and basically put an APB out for a Stryker Blue G8 GT loaded except moonroof (they leak, ask a mechanic, they have problems with the G8 and mold in the headliner you wont find and warrenty won't pay for) and let GM handle the first contact. You wont believe how many emails you will get from these dealers begging you to buy from them because they have the best deal. Plus, Steve informed me that because I went thru Pontiac, I got an addition $1500 off in addition to all the rebates and incentives. I think I saved just at $4000 by doing that step first. Think about it, there is only 2 cars (base and GT) and two packages (sport package and appearence package) and with or without moonroof, so the pricing is going to be very similar from one dealer to the next. But if you have a couple guys fighting for your business, you will get a better deal, especially if you have a trade in.
