Does anyone know anything about the CAI. Are they hard to insrall, and are they legal in New York?

I have installed a lot of K&N's, I really never found any to be difficult to install, pretty straight forward, as always read your instructions before
proceeding and make sure you have all the nuts and bolts etc. in the kit
to start before you start. I would really doubt that it would be illegal to install, but you do live in NY.:158:

I installed a Roto-Fab CAI on my G8. Basic hand tools and the step by step illustrated instructions are top notch. I coupled my CAI with a Vector ECM/TCM tune and it drives like a different car. Besides the HP/TQ increase the shifting is like night and day, as well a adjusting the shift points and speed limiter.

I put in a Roto-Fab this afternoon. Took roughly an hour. You can't mess it up with the detail of the directions they give you. If you have any mechanical ability at all, this should be a snap. The sound you get from the motor now when you really push the engine is absolutley mind blowing now. Still quite around town, but sounds like a beast when you get on it...

I just installed the Volant CAI, expect to tear your hair out. It may also need more drilling to fully fit right and the MAF sensor doesn't seem to fit snug.

Does Roto-Fab make one for the 6 cylinder?
