How can I disable the seat belt chime on my 2008 G8? My previous car was a Ford Five Hundred and I was able to press a few buttons on my dash in a specific sequence to disable the continuation on my seat belt chime. I would like to be able to this in my car as well.

I look through the owner's manual and could not locate how to do it either. It is probably in there somewhere.

i would imagine you cant disable the alarm. at least not without modification to the system. im sure you could find the wires and make the car think its buckled.

Now where is the fun of doing that. By wearing your seatbelt you no longer have the opportunity to fly through your windshield or being ejected from the car.

You should follow the rules of the traffic control system.
