I know that the curently have some rotors out for the g8 gt as of now buy no performance calipers. I've seen some people who use other cars, e.x corvette's performance brakes on there g8. Is that going to cause any kind of problems and if not just need to look for other cars that have the same wheel base as the g8?

I can buy direct replacement GXP Brembo brakes from GM for a very reasonable price. That would include Calipers, Brake pads and rotors. I was at the track last week and a guy with a GXP had the 18" all season wheels on to drive it to the track. So will the GXP Calipers and rotors fit on my GT? Has anyone tried this?
