Well if you are a G8 owner in Canada I have officially found the first flaw in the car.... The cup holders don't support two large Tim Horton's cups at the same time.

With a medium size coffee I will definitely need to set the "Rest Alarm" on the G8.

Wasn't there a Tim Horton's ad campaign last year where the passenger was denied use of the second cupholder as the driver reserved that for his breakfast sandwich. TH knew more about this car than you give them credit.

Hah!!! I remember that commercial. Yeah. And the glove box popped open for the passangers timmies. There is a good mod. Turn the glove box into a passanger table. :thk:

Yes - found that out too. One trick is to put something in the bottom of one of the cup holders - like a piece of stiff foam about 1" (2.5 cm) for example. This will lift one of the cups up a little more than the other and then they fit. (This works for large and x-large) not so sure about medium as I am NOT a medium kind of guy! My previous GP had it's cup holders designed like that as they had them running parallel between the seats.

Give it a try. This also works for stainless steel travel mugs - but it depends on their shapes.

 Good point! I stopped off for a coffee a couple of Saturday's ago and one of the dealer sales men asked me how I was enjoying my G8.

Ever seen a porsche with a cup holder? Its not even on the option list. You think that maybe they take driving seriously. Aside from that I find that there in the way. But hey at the gas-n-go they got those funky holders that you can set into the window track...$1.99 of course your limited in the color catatagory.
