Just curious...dealer told me I couldn't get a G8GT with a sunroof - - something about "it would affect the structural integrity." I had to decide - sunroof....V8....sunroof....V8 -- so I didn't want anyone to tell me later "Aahhh, you could have had a V8! HA!

Both the V6 and V8 have the option of a sunroof. he is talking out of his arse.

Yes the G8's do come with a sunroof for sure.

My G8 GT has a sunroof. I told the dealership I went to that I wanted one with a sunroof and they had to go find it for me. Personally if the dealership told me that crap I would have found another dealership to deal with. As one of the other posts says.. You can get the option in either the G8 or the G8 GT.. It doesn't mess with the integrity of the car!!!

I just got the G8 Gt and also wanted a sunroof and was told no not available. I ended up with #170 of the first 888 so I can live without the sunroof.

This is sorry on the dealers part instead of trying to assist the customer in getting the vehicle they want; the dealer wants to sell what he has on the lot. This makes good business sense but still sorry.

My dealer really wanted a G8 on the road before the end of July and gave me a really good APR if I was to purchase in less than a week. I said sure as long as it had everything I wanted (V6, Sport Red Metallic, 1SB Package). I refused to take the "one" they had on the lot.

It's amazing how quickly they can locate the exact car if they want to make a sale. I ordered mine on a Tuesday, they had it transferred from the Oshawa head office to the dealer on Wednesday afternoon and delivered it to me (rust proofed, scotch guarded and paint protected) by 6pm Thursday night (which just happened to be July 31st).

When we bought our G8 V6, there were 2 V8's on the lot with sunroofs!
