Looks like Black is in the lead but with all the members on this sight I thought there would be more numbers in this poll got to be more than black out there  we have more owners then this.

Look at the year's production numbers-Black was the high number and would be most available, Orange and blue, the least produced and least available as indicated by the poll numbers...

I wanted a Sport Red Metallic. I couldn't find one in New York loaded with all the options I desired. So I ended up with Liquid Red. Which I'm really liking...it POPS!! (09 GT, Liquid Red, Sport Package, Premium Package, Sunroof, Onyx/Red Leather Interior. I just picked it up about a week ago) I purchased a Roto-Fab CAI for it. I'm waiting for the weather to break so I can put it in. WISH ME LUCK ON THAT!

Sport Metalic Red! I hope there are not many out there. I want to have a car w/o a perdieved popular color. More unique!

That explains why the touch up bottle the dealer gave me is Passion Red rather than Sport Metalic Red

That's how I found out. Ordering my touchup bottle.

Hi all, we just bought a new 2009 Sport Red Metallic a week and a half ago and it had two badly touched up chips on the right rear quarter. I wanted it sanded down and reshot but the dealer wouldnt' go for it. They touched it up and it does look pretty good. They gave me the touch up bottle and I noticed it said Passion Red too. What's up with the name change?

It reminds me of when I bought my 2002 Malibu which incidentally looks the same as SRM. All my paperwork from the dealer has always said it was Ruby Red. I found Chevrolet books and websites which show the colour as Redfire Metallic. I guess you can't win with the naming conventions! Love the look of the car in this shade, would have loved to see Pacific Slate but it seems none of the dealers have any. I've seen every other available colour and the car does look amazing in all of them.

Here as well. I really wanted a Silver or the MGM but I am now glad that I have the SRM.

We test drove a Maverick Silver base 1SA model and when we went back to the dealer they had traded it. Oh well that's life and like yourself we're glad we got the SRM.

The nearest dealer to me with the color I wanted is 60 + miles away and I was not sure they would still have it by the time I got there.
This color is definitely growing on me and the car itself is amazing!

It's not really a name change. It's the Aussie name for the color. Hot White over here is Heron White down under.

My GT is also Sport Red, and I also strongly considered the hard-to-find Pacific Blue. The thing that kept me from originally wanting the SRM was a review from one of the on-line mags where one of the two reviewers said "If only Pontiac had sent something other than that godawful 80's AARP red metallic". But once I saw it in person, I had to have it. Here in the Bluegrass its black, silver or liquid red... if you see one.

Once you go black you never go back. Great for all occasions from picnics to funerals and everything in between.

Magnetic gray... this color really pops when polished... and if decide to get little frisky behind the wheel this color seems to just blend into the surroundings sorta like a cloaking device ...But then again if He's right behind you it does'nt matter what color your driving, Farmington uses unmarked cars!
