Hello all! Glad to be back on a pontiac forum. I spent a lot of time on them with my Grand Prix's and sure miss it. I finally broke down and purchased a Pontiac G8. Went to the dealership 'just to drive one'. Drove it a little further than I had planned (back to my house)!
Liquid Red Sedan, every option except the sport package (summer tires don't do so well here in Oklahoma). And yes, it's the sedan. I drove them both at the dealership. I thought long and hard about the GT, but my heavy foot and a two year old riding with me 75% of the time made the choice pretty easy. I have to say though, I'm very happy with the power it has and the thing that really drew me to this car was the styling. I've never had so many strangers come up to me in parking lots just to see the if the inside was as nice as the outside!
I know the very next post in this thread will be "Pictures, we need pictures!", so here are a couple. In the second picture, you'll see why this car cost me about $60k. If I got a new car, the wife just had to have one as well. (Unfortunately, my couch was built for looks, not comfort, so I broke down....)
